We took Luke to see the trucker's parade this year. He is obsessed with Christmas lights and he loves trucks, how perfect! We raced the parade through Eureka to get over to our friends house in Myrtle Ave. It was a beautiful night, no rain, and somewhat warm. I know, a Christmas miracle, right? Well, Luke loved the parade, but about halfway through we had to hold his ears, it was loud! Now when we tell him look for lights he says, "trucks?"

Lots to be thankful for...
We had our family Thanksgiving dinner early on the Sunday before the holiday, since the kids were not going to be with us on Thursday. It was wonderful though! We did have a water scare on Sat. night though, no water in the well until about 11am on Sun. Yikes, imagine making a Thanksgiving dinner without running water. Do you know how many times you wash your hands & rinse dishes? Well, as always it was perfect. What a blessing we have in family! (and running water)

Blaine's a teenager!
Blaine turned 13 this year...it's official...he's a teenager! Although, I think he's been working on getting a headstart on this "teenager" thing for a while! We had the family over for dinner and presents to celebrate this monumental year. Blaine finally got the cell phone he's been wanting. And according to him, he's the last one in the class. Well, happy birthday Blaine. We're SO glad you're a teenager. ;)
Halloween Party
So, back in October....we had our annual Halloween party! It was a blast. This year everyone dressed up....that doesn't mean they left on their Halloween costume though (Blaine & Kyler, that's you!!) We had a great time and lots of our friends came. Our house was packed with over 50 goblins, princessess, witches, sports fans, bikers, fairytale creatures and Buzz Lightyear! The tradition continues...

Happy Birthday kyler

Kyler had a slumber party for his birthday this year. He had four friends (and Jared) over for a sleepover. They played football, video games, watched a movie and decorated their own cupcakes. What more could a 9 year old boy want! He made out like a bandit for his birthday, getting hundreds of dollars and a new guitar! Wow, I wish I was nine again!
