While the boys and I waited for Sister to finish her ballet class we went to the park. It was a great day and a really fun park. Luke loved the swings and the slides. All three boys ran around from play structure to play structure. Then the wonderful ice cream man drove up! What a perfect way to end an afternoon at the park! We'll definitely have to do that again!

She entered a skirt and pillow she sewed, a cake, candy and decorated cupcakes, and two flower arangements, a butterfly and red/white/blue theme. All of her entries were fantastic. Weeds....
So, in our garden we had more weeds than vegetables. In some places it was hard to tell the plants from the weeds. So, over three days time I weeded...and weeded and weeded! It was a lot of work, but well worth it. Our garden now looks a million times better than it ever has. I put some "weed preventer" on it, we'll see how well that really works. My new plan is "weeding wednesday" I'll try and keep on those weeds!!
Here's a part of the before...
Here's the after....beautiful!

Caitlyn's Songflute Concert
Yes, we called them "recorders" when I went to school....but now they are songflutes. Caitlyn was taught songflutes in class and she was invited to play in the Spring Concert. She was so excited! After a few song she was even chosen by her music teacher to be a student leader while he played the piano. We were all very impressed. Now she has the music bug and wants to play the flute next year!
Family Bike Ride
A few weeks ago we took advantage of the non-rainy day and went on a family bike ride. We went out Elk River and rode our bikes up the the old town of Faulk. We also stopped to see the sights and throw rocks and sticks into the water. It was a great afternoon, topped off with ice cream at Fresh Freeze!
